It is also known by the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls in early October. Similar to Americans, this Festival also celebrates to express gratitude for changing seasons and fall harvest.

There are some differences in the Thanksgiving of China and the USA. Since the last 2500 years, China is celebrating this Festival. The Chinese food preference on this day is also different than American. They eat moon pie, which includes sesame seeds, ground lotus seeds, and duck eggs.
